Qualification Details
Candidates who had applied for the Union Public Service
Commission notification and want to take part in the Combined Medical Services
examination must check the UPSC CMS Eligibility Criteria, displayed here. Candidates
who have passed written as well as practical of final M.B.B.S. Examination,
they are eligible to apply for the UPSC CMS recruitment notification.
Students who are appearing in the final year of M.B.B.S.
Examination they can also apply but condition is also applicable. If the
applicants do not produce proof of passed the written and practical part of
final M.B.B.S. Examination, their admission will be cancelled Willing
contenders should have complete compulsory rotating internship for admission
but he will be appointed only after he has completed their internship.
Age Limitations
for Combined Medical Services
To participate in the Combined Medical Services examination,
willing contenders must ensure the age limitations which we have presented here
for your convenience. The age of the applying aspirants must be less than 32
years.
Age Relaxation
Candidates who belong to reserved categories they will get
age relaxation which is applicable as per guidelines of Indian Government. 5
years for Scheduled Caste or Scheduled Tribe, 3 years for Other Backward
Classes, 5 years for State of Jammu & Kashmir (Domiciled during the
period from the 1st January, 1980 to 31st December, 1989., 5 years
for Defence Services personnel (disabled in operations during hostilities
with any foreign country or in a disturbed area, 5 years for
Ex-servicemen including Commissioned officers and ECOs/SSCOs, 10 years for
Blind, deaf-mute and Orthopaedically handicapped persons, Ad-hoc
Doctors appointed after 1.10.1984 in the Ministry of Railways will also be
granted age relaxation for period of service rendered by them as ad-hoc Doctors
in Railways.
Date of Birth
Certificate
Date of birth accepted by the Commission that entered in the
Matriculation or Secondary School Leaving Certificate or in a certificate
recognized by an Indian University as equivalent to Matriculation or Register
of Matriculates maintained by a University, which certified by the authority of
the University or in the Higher Secondary or an equivalent examination
certificate/ Other documents such as horoscopes, affidavits, birth extracts
from Municipal Corporation, service records are not accepted. When date of
birth is recorded in the Commission, then no one will be allowed to change it
subsequently (or at any other Examination of the Commission).
