UPSC CMS 2017 Exam Pattern

Candidates, who are appearing for the exam, must firstly download their UPSC CMS Admit Card 2017 and also give a look on the exam pattern for the UPSC CMS Exam. The Combined Medical Services Exam is divided into two major parts that is Paper 1 and Paper 2 respectively. In which the Paper I exam will be a computer based test, consisting two papers. Both the papers will consist of 250 marks, in which Part 1 will include 30 questions of General Ability, 70 questions of General Medicine and 20 questions of Pediatrics, and part 2 will include 40 each Questions based on Surgery, Gynecology & Obstetrics and Preventive & Social Medicine. Candidate need to finish up the each exam in 2 hours. Whereas, Paper II will be a personality test, which will consist of 100 marks.  Note that the candidates who will qualify first part of the exam will only be permitted for the Part II exam.

UPSC CMS 2017 Important Dates (Tentative)
